What about marital and/or family therapy?

Psychoanalysis can be adapted successfully to marital and some family therapy.  It requires the same degree of commitment and perseverance as individual treatment.  It is not unusual, in fact it is sometimes necessary, for some individuals to pursue individual treatment with another therapist concurrently, particularly if personal concerns require more in depth exploration than conjoint or family therapy permits.  These are things I will be happy to discuss with you.
